Writing Bug is a Nottingham-based copywriting service that helps clients create engaging and effective content. I designed their logo using a stylized “W” composed of punctuation marks - quotation marks and a full stop. The logo represents the essence of writing, as well as the creativity and personality of the service. The inspiration behind using punctuation marks in the logo was to connect the visual and the verbal aspects of writing. Punctuation marks are essential elements of writing, as they help to structure, clarify, and enhance the meaning of the text. They also add personality and emotion to the writing, as they can indicate tone, mood, and voice. By using punctuation marks in the logo, I wanted to convey that Writing Bug is a service that understands the importance and power of writing, and can help clients express themselves effectively and creatively.
