"Collaborating with Dan has truly been a game-changer. In the past, I've found it challenging to connect with designers, but with Dan, it was an entirely different story. He effortlessly tuned into our brand's essence and brought it to life in ways I hadn't imagined. His work is not just aesthetically pleasing but perfectly aligns with our patient group and brand narrative. Beyond his impeccable design expertise, Dan's approach to the creative process was refreshing and invigorating, making me look forward to each stage with anticipation. If you desire a designer who combines exceptional skill with an ability to inspire and enthuse, Dan is the gold standard. A stellar experience from start to finish. ★★★★★"
- Dr Manoj Ravindran, Fluence Clinic
THE BRIEF:
Fluence Clinic is an Australian-based online psychiatry clinic. Dr Manoj Ravindran, founder of Fluence, reached out to me for assistance in revitalizing their brand. They specialise in providing care for individuals with ADHD, among other mental health conditions, making their mission particularly impactful. The deliverables required included a full visual identity, Google Ads, stationery, and asset design for their website and social media platforms.
THE SOLUTION:
The first step was to immerse myself in understanding the target audience. I conducted extensive research on ADHD and other mental health conditions, delving into medical literature, online forums, and speaking with Dr Ravindran to gain insights into the unique needs and challenges individuals face.
I redesigned the clinic's logo to convey a sense of calm and safety. It features soft, rounded edges, reflecting Fluence’s commitment to providing a supportive environment. The logo mark is an abstracted “F” and "C" monogram that continually flows into itself – a suggestion of the smooth, fluid nature of the service and of the long-term positive effects of the treatment itself.
Knowing that people with ADHD may have varying sensory sensitivities, I chose a colour palette that was calming but with enough visual interest to maintain focus. For typography, I opted for clear, easy-to-read fonts to enhance accessibility.
The rebranding process was a journey of empathy and continuous improvement. By prioritising the needs of the target audience and collaborating closely with healthcare experts, I was able to create a welcoming and effective brand identity that truly represented Fluence Clinic and served the unique needs of individuals with ADHD and other mental health conditions.
